We firmly believe that all children,
even those who are very thin, should be allowed to do
some sort of physical activity.
We run a graded activity programme which reflects the
level of fitness of the individual child. We offer daily
walks, swimming, horse-riding, badminton, yoga, aerobics,
dance, drama, arts and crafts and stretch & relaxation.
As long as the children are eating and gaining weight
there are always activities they can pursue. As well as
our timetabled activities, we organise trips to bowling,
ice-skating, theatres, restaurants, theme parks, camping
expeditions, cinemas and paint balling.
We like the children to be busy and to see that life can
be fun when you have lots of energy and are fit and healthy.
When children leave they often request a disco or karaoke
party, which everyone enjoys.
In the summer our school closes for four weeks and is
replaced by a programme of sports, crafts, trips, treasure
hunts, face painting etc.
